This Mineral is a slow release natural product that decreases dependence on chemical fertilizers. It contains all the minerals and trace elements essential for grasslands, crops and animal health and also increases microbial and earthworm activity. This will help aeration, nitrogen fixation, humus building, water retention and lock up phosphate release. Microbes and earthworms break down the Minerals and turn minerals into protoplasm, which is then fed to plants and grasses increasing their sugar levels. Humus in the soil is necessary to support the growth of moulds and fungi. Moulds produce antibiotics that repel insects and fungi feed plants by dissolving and carrying minerals into their roots. As it remains in the soil in the winter nutrients are released slowly but this quickens as the soil warms in the spring when all micro-organisms go to work. It is self-regulating and your plants and grasses get the nutrients, when and where they need them most. After applying the Minerals, Farmers have reported up to 50% less use of fertilisers. This product has the same mineral and trace element profile as the Minerals, plus a slow release nitrogen content, which offers 70 units of nitrogen per ton.
