It is with pleasure that the Board of Directors is announcing the hiring of Steve McGonigal as Executive Director of the WSRA. Steve's first day was October 16, 2008.
Steve was Executive Director of the Washington State Nursery & Landscape Association for 16 years, and served for six years as Executive Secretary of the Washington State Noxious Weed Control Board. Most recently he was manager of the newly-formed Office of Farmland Preservation within the Washington State Conservation Commission.
Steve has a BA in Journalism from Humboldt State University. He is a member of several professional associations, including the Washington Society of Association Executives.
